ON the back of a great night in Northern Italy and a trip to Manchester tomorrow, the Arsenal manager has begun strengthening as the transfer window sets to close.
26-year-old striker, Park Chu-Young, is set to undergo a medical at the Emirates tomorrow in a transfer with a fee worth around £10 million.
The South Korean icon was set to join Lille from Monaco, but talks apparently broke down after interest grew from the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger has also had a bid rejected from Bolton for Gary Cahill, with much talk about the reported fee of £6 million being far from the Trotters valuation.
However, rumours suggest that Arsenal will continue negotiations to get the England International to North London.
